NEPEAN Longwall maintain service teams in QLD and NSW to support our customers through service shifts, inspections, audits, recommendations and training.
Many of our customers value the independent inspection of their longwalls as these inspections often highlight issues that may be missed in day-to-day production activities. The early identification of issues may prevent major breakdowns and down-time when timely remedies are able to be made.
Our service team may assist with chain and flight audits, roof support hydraulic surveys, AFC inspections, oil sampling of transmissions, training of operational and service personnel, and analysis of system issues. They are also capable of supervising component change-out, re-hosing, valve replacements etc.
The service team acts as an interface with our engineering & sales teams to provide the mine with solutions and recommendations for improvements, upgrades or repairs.
